Lucky Tyke is a web development studio operated by Ryan Davis, LLC in Binghamton, New York. This page explains what we collect when you use luckytyke.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. If anything here is unclear, call (607) 608-3939 or use the contact form and ask.
What we collect when you contact us
When you submit a form on this site we collect the name, email address and message you type, along with your IP address and the page you submitted from. We use this only to answer your enquiry and to follow up about the project you asked about. We do not sell it, rent it, or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Form submissions are stored in this site’s database and emailed to us. Email is delivered through Amazon Simple Email Service. To filter spam, the content of your submission and your IP address are checked against OOPSpam, a third-party spam-filtering service.
Calls and text messages
Our business line, (607) 608-3939, accepts both calls and text messages. If you give us your phone number, or if you text us first, we may reply by text about your enquiry or your project. We will not send you marketing texts, and we do not share your phone number with anyone or sell it to third parties for any purpose, including marketing. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Analytics and advertising
We measure how the site is used so we can improve it, and so we can tell which advertising is worth paying for. Specifically:
- Independent Analytics, which runs on our own server and records page views, referrers and general location. It does not follow you to other websites.
- Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, which record how pages are used.
- Google Ads conversion tracking, which tells us when someone who clicked one of our ads later contacted us. It does not tell us who you are.
These Google services set cookies in your browser and send data to Google. Google’s handling of that data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and you can turn off ad personalisation in Google My Ad Center. Blocking these cookies does not stop you using the site or contacting us.
Security and hosting
This site is hosted by WebOps Hosting, a sister company also operated by Ryan Davis, LLC, on servers in New York. Its web application firewall records request data, including IP addresses, in order to block attacks. Content is delivered through the QUIC.cloud content delivery network, which processes requests in order to serve pages quickly.
How long we keep it
Form submissions are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them for the enquiry and our business records, and are deleted on request. Analytics records are kept in aggregate. Security logs are kept on a short rolling window.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@luckytyke.com or call (607) 608-3939 and we will action it. You do not have to give a reason.
Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or who processes it, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
